Mrs. Rosa Mae (Newcomb) Clark, age 81 of South Hill went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She is survived by her son, Arthur "Matt" Clark (Shirley) of South Hill, a grandson Mathew Earl Clark; a sister, Linda Lewis; a brother Robert "Gene" Newcomb and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Clark.

Rosa was a retired food service worker for Mecklenburg County Schools and a member of River Ridge Chapel.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted 10am Friday, April 11 by Rev Gerald Pearce in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7-8:30 at the funeral home.
