Mrs. Marian Albright Allgood Brame, a Boydton, VA native passed away at age 86. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James (Alex) Brame Jr.; a son, James (Jimmy) Brame III; her parents, Sterling and Annie Allgood; biological parents, Adolphus and Myrtle Allgood; infant sister, Mable Jean Allgood; step mother, Daisy Allgood; half brothers, James and Garland Allgood.

She is survived by sons, Teddy and wife Martha Brame and Michael Brame of Boydton, VA; daughter, Patricia and husband Bill Wheeler of Norfolk, VA; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Walter and wife Louise Allgood, Monty and wife Frances Allgood; Sisters, Bessie Wilkerson, Barbara Gill and Lucille Blalock. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was an Army Cadet Nurse during WW II, a nurse at Community Memorial hospital and Mecklenburg Correction Center.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 2 PM in the chapel of Herbert L. Farrar Funeral Home, where the familly will receive friends from 1 PM to service time. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park.
