Mrs. Letha Barnes Warren, age 94, passed away July 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Joseph H. Warren. She is survived by her two daughters, Harriette Warren Newsom (Dave) of Lawrenceville, VA and Mary Letha Warren Jelinek (Ed) of Topsfield, MA; four grandchildren, Anne Warren Newsom Sardelis (Nick), Frank Newsom (Katie), Elizabeth Jelinek and Emily Jelinek , and two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Alex Sardelis. Also surviving are six nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Warren was a graduate of Longwood College and taught school in Nottaway and Mecklenburg Counties. She was a member of the South Hill United Methodist Church.

The family would like to thank caregivers, Addie Taylor and Catherine Bruce along with CMH Hospice for their care and guidance.

A graveside service will be held 11am Tuesday, Aug 2, 2016 at Tabernacle Baptist Cemetery in South Hill.
