Obituary for Anne B. Reamey
Mrs. Anne Barnette Reamey, Age 88 of LaCrosse, passed away on Wednesday December 8, 2021 at her residence .
Anne was the widow of Lewis Carlton Reamey. She is survived by her daughters Linda Moore and Mary Newcomb and her son Dennis Reamey. Five grandchildren Jim Parrish and his wife Michelle, Wendy Dowdell and her husband Adam, Stephanie Reamey and her husband Frank, Matthew Newcomb and his wife Jaimee and Mark Newcomb and his wife Mellissa. Seven Great grandchildren Jayanna Parrish, Dylan Parrish, Kristina Dowdell, Jamison Loftin, Jada Loftin, Jase Newcomb and Whitely Newcomb.
Anne was retired from Narricot Industries where she worked as a Weaver for many years. She was a lifelong member of the Sanford Memorial Baptist Church in Brodnax, VA.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 am , Saturday, December 11, 2021 by Rev. Stephen Kendrick at Farrar Funeral Home with the interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00pm Friday, December 10, 2021. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the Lacrosse Fire Dept. P.O. Box 38 LaCrosse, VA. 23950 or Sanford Memorial Baptist Church P. O. Box 361 Brodnax, VA. 23920.
Everyone is cordially invited back to the daughter Linda Moores residence at the conclusion of the Service.
