Obituary for Bryan Hugh Hamby
Bryan Hugh Hamby, 54 of Lawrenceville, Georgia died January 7, 2023 after a short illness. He is survived by his daughter, Devon Shiel of Hickory, PA; his parents, Hugh and Janet Hamby of Boydton; his brother, Jeffrey Hamby; nephew, Jarrett Hamby and niece, Jaiden Hamby. Also surviving are his aunts and uncle; Patricia Hamby of South Hill, Jane & Billy Carson, Scottsburg, VA, Mr. & Mrs. Roy Huff of Powhatan, VA, Ann DeShazo of Woodbridge, VA, Mildred Snowa, Debbie & Ralph Sitler all of Glen Allen, VA, and longtime friend, Olivia Green of Lawrenceville, GA and other extended family.
Bryan will be remembered for his love of animals and all things in nature. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2pm, Monday, January 16, 2023 by Rev. Dan Jarrell at Oakwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.farrarfuneralhome.net. Farrar Funeral Home of South Hill is serving the Hamby family.
