Many will remember Chuck from WJWS/WSHV radio in South Hill as a radio announcer for several years. Not only did he announce on the radio, he was somewhat of an electrical engineering genius working on all aspects of the radio station including the tower. Following his radio career, he worked with Wolfe’s TV Repair. On weekends, Chuck could be found at the Plaza Villa Skating Rink, working as a rink monitor and enjoying skating with individuals of all ages. He was a man that always wore a warm smile, and enjoyed time with family and friends. Chuck served his country in the US Army and was a member of the South Hill Church of Christ.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11am, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 prior to the service at the funeral home. The family requests memorial considerations in his memory be directed to South Hill Church of Christ, 409 W. High Street, South Hill, VA 23970 or the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be shared at www.farrarfuneralhome.net. Farrar Funeral Home of South Hill is serving the Brown family.
