Mr. Charlie Lee Baisey, age 91 of South Hill, died Monday, November 15, 2021. He is survived by his son, David Lee Baisey, and his grandchildren, Meredith and Mckenzie Baisey and their mother, Kim. Also surviving is his brother, P. L. Baisey, Jr. of Chesterfield. Mr. Baisey was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Pansy Sadler Baisey and his siblings, Pauline Baird, Margaret Hightower, Hilda Crowder, and Tina Davis.

Mr. Baisey was a retired farmer and worked for Crop Production/Nutrien Ag of South Hill where he continued to work until his death. Charlie was a familiar face to many farmers in our area and loved working with each of them. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren Meredith and Mckenzie. Mr. Baisey was a life member of Ephesus Baptist Church.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2pm, Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Chapel with interment to follow for both Charlie and Pansy at Crestview Memorial Park in LaCrosse, VA. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 at the funeral. Memorial considerations may be placed in his memory to Southside Rescue Squad, P O Box 546, South Hill, VA 23970.
