Mrs. Delma Roberts Wilson, age 92 of South Hill, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She was the widow of William Henry Wilson and is survived by her three daughters, Karen W. Cutler (Dale), Vicky Pinchbeck (Dale) and Terry Moss (Shep); five grandchildren, Brooke Cutler Ellis, Darcy Pinchbeck, Jonathan Pinchbeck, Evan Moss, Patrick Moss and five great-grandchildren, Kylee, Carter, Peyton, Olivia and Savannah. Also surviving are two sisters, Shirley Smelley (Doodle) and Margaret Santerre (Ron). Mrs. Wilson was also preceded in death by her parents, Arthur B. and Annie W. Roberts, sister Nellie Cumbia, brother Roy Roberts, Stafford Roberts and Elwood Roberts.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and worked for many years at Oakley’s Department Store in South Hill. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Women. She loved sports, especially the Atlanta Braves. She was always ready to go to any event her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren participated in, and was their greatest CHEERLEADER!!!
Funeral services will be conducted at 11am, Monday, November 1, 2021 by Rev. Michael Blythe at Shiloh United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 pm, Sunday October 31, 2021 at Farrar Funeral Home. The family suggest memorial considerations be placed in her memory to Shiloh United Methodist Church P.O Box 1013, South Hill, VA or Southside Rescue Squad.
