Eddie  Royal  Robertson
Mr. Eddie Royal Robertson, age 89 of Chase City, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ruby J. Robertson, and is survived by his children, Henry R. Robertson (Norma) of Chase City, Gayle R. Santore (Larry) of South Hill and Debra R. Aguirre (Pat) of Midlothian. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Charles M. Santore of Bedford, Brian Santore (Amanda) of Littleton, NC, Monica Aguirre and Emily Aguirre both of Midlothian; three sisters, Shirley R. Carter of Chase City, Wilda R. Stabler of Midlothian, Nell R. Rutledge of South Hill; a brother, Tom Robertson (Linda) of Chesterfield, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Robertson was also preceded in death by his parents Willie R. & Minnie P. Robertson, a brother, James F. Robertson and sister Delma R. Kolekofski.

Mr. Robertson was a long time employee of Burlington Mills, a lifelong farmer and a life member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev A. C. Wells at 11am, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Farrar Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30-8pm at the funeral home.
