Mrs. Linda Malone Allman, age 78 of South Hill, died Sunday, December 15, 2019. She was the daughter of Willie “Buddy” Baker Malone and Mary Sculthrope Malone and is survived by her children, Sharon Flowers of Blackstone and Nelson Allman of Bracey. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Alexandra and George Flowers; one great granddaughter, Maelynn Bradshaw Pennel and siblings, Kay Malone Harper of FL and Frank Malone of South Hill. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allman was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette M. Smith.

Mrs. Allman grew up in South Hill and worked as a purchasing agent at the Mecklenburg County Correctional Center in Boydton from 1978 until 2003. She was also a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11am, Wednesday, Dec. 18th at Ephesus by Rev. Nathan Cobb followed by graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery. The family request memorial considerations be made to Ephesus Baptist Church, 1642 Smith Cross Roads, South Hill, VA 23970 or the charity of your choice.
