Obituary for Lottie May Puetz (Lawson)
Mrs. Lottie May (Lawson) Puetz, age 81 of Sandston, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Donald M. Puetz, Jr. of Sandston; her son, Travis Matthews Puetz of Hopewell; siblings, Raymond Lawson (Margie) of Boydton and Robert Lonnie Lawson Sr. (Debbie Porter) of Brodnax; a nephew, Robert “Bobby “ Lawson; nieces, Amy Lawson, Tracey Elam, Marsha Murray, and Paula Durham and numerous great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Puetz was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Ola May Lawson; her brother, Otis Lawson and wife Dottie and niece, Sandra Lawson.
Mrs. Puetz was a retired Executive Assistant for Virginia Department of Transportation and a member of New Bridge Baptist Church in Sandston. After retirement, she enjoyed her days sewing, spending time at the YMCA, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2pm, Friday, November 18 at Farrar Funeral Home in South Hill, VA with interment to follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
