Mr. Michael A. Gilbert, age 60 of South Hill, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Kim Simmons Gilbert of the home, and two sons, Joshua Emsley Gilbert and Noah Grey Gilbert (Alex Vogel).

Michael was known for his love of family, friends, and animals of all kind. He was a painter and home improvement contractor.
