Obituary for Robert L. Lawson Sr.
Mr. Robert L. Lawson, Sr., age 79 of Brodnax, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He is survived by his children, Amy Lawson (Glenn) and Robert L. Lawson, Jr. of Henrico, VA; his grandchildren Jamie (Julian), Robert, Sharia, and great-grandchildren, Lukis, Darrin, Jake, and McKenzie. Also surviving is his brother, Raymond Lawson (Marjorie) of Boydton and his companion, Deborah Porter of Brodnax. Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by his wife, Marylee V. Lawson, his daughter, Sandi Honeycutt; granddaughter, Jackie, and siblings, Otis Lawson and Mae Puetz (Donnie).
Mr. Lawson retired from Pecht Distributing where he worked as a warehouse supervisor. Following his retirement, he spent his time enjoying hunting, watching basketball and racing, completing crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on January 28, 2023 at 1327 Meredith Mill Road Brodnax Va. from 1 to 4.
