Mrs. Sally Newman Jones, age 72 of Boydton, died Thursday, April 16, 2020. She was the widow of Paul Jones, and is survived by her children, Sally Louise Newman (Dale) and William Newman Hedgepeth; six grandchildren, Trey Hedgepeth, Seth Hedgepeth, Nicholas Hedgepeth, Sally Raney Newman, and Dylan Arabella Newman, and two sisters, Mary William Coleman and Ann Rogers.


Mrs. Jones was a retired magistrate having served in Mecklenburg County for many years.
