Obituary for Susan Gaye Gill (Paschall)
Mrs. Susan Paschall Gill, age 62 of Palmer Springs, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul M. Gill of the home; two children, Jason P. Gill and Katie Gill Wilbourn (David) and granddaughter Aubrey Leigh Wilbourne Also surviving are two sisters, Donna Paschall Robinson (Jimmie) of FL and Tammy Paschall Richardson (Charles) of NC and many nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Nelson Paschall and Katherine Louise Edwards Paschall and sister, Kathy P. Puryear.
Mrs. Gill worked with the Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services, and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, nana and friend.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2pm Friday, January 25 at Farrar Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park in LaCrosse. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial considerations may be directed to Palmer Springs Fire Dept. 1697 Palmer Springs Rd., Boydton, VA 23917 or Hendrick Center, P O Box 90, South Hill, VA 23970.
