Our Heritage

"If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain." - Emily Dickinson

The Herbert L. Farrar Funeral Home was originally established in 1972 with a commitment to provide the families of our area outstanding service during their time of need. Re-established in 1990 at our current location, our goal remains to strive to keep your confidence by fulfilling your trust in us to provide service beyond expectation.
Whether you request our services during the death of a loved one, or you have chosen to make your arrangements in advance, our staff is ready to provide you with services tailored to your needs. As strange as it may seem, a funeral can be one of the most important affirmations of life as this is a time to pay our respects, to honor the memory of those who have died, to reflect on both the happy and sad times during our lives, and to say our final "good-bye." Our funeral directors have compassionately accepted the responsibility for creating a service that allows a family to celebrate one's life while we help heal broken hearts.  The family and staff of Farrar Funeral Home consider it a privilege to serve those families in need.

At Herbert L. Farrar Funeral Home, we are committed to upholding our tradition of providing services that set the standard, not just the standard service.
