Mr. Donald Lee Lawson, age 59, of Boydton died Thursday December 12, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Linda W. Lawson of the home; two sons, Donald Lee Lawson, II of Victoria and Matthew Alan Lawson of Chase City; and two daughters, Laura Linn Lawson and Amanda Gail Lawson both of Chase City. Also surviving is his mother, Kathleen Watson Lawson, four sisters, Patsy Walker of South Hill, Cynthia Wilson and Christy Pierce both of LaCrosse, and Sandra Kidd of Blackridge; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Admiral Houston Lawson.

Funeral service will be conducted by Rev Ralph Fletcher at 6 pm Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at Farrar Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 pm on Saturday, Dec. 14th at the Rutledge Family Cemetery in Saxe, VA. Memorial considerations may be directed to the charity of your choice.
