Mrs. Mildred F. Ryland, age 93 of South Hill, died Monday, June 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Byron M. Ryland and is survived by her daughters, Lynda R. Edwards (John R.) of South Hill, and Victoria R Crowder (Jerry) of Brodnax. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Kelli Edwards, Beth Edwards, Rebecca Edwards, Michelle Allen, Jason Crowder, Ashley Leslie, and Justin Crowder and eight great-grandchildren, Amber Langley, Ashley Allen, Lindsey Allen, Keaton Crowder, Kimball Crowder and Ethan Leslie.

Mrs. Ryland was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11am, Thursday June 4 at Ephesus Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
