Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lenwood Cleaton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, as from many folks in my lab who were helped by Lennie over the years. He was a really special person. To our group at UNC who worked with him for many years he was far far more than just someone who helped with Olympus microscopes. He spread good will like very few people in any aspect of our work, kept us all calm, and taught us quite a few things about how to be a decent person. I still remember my first meeting with him as a new person at UNC, and many occasions after that. I certainly will miss him, and know that a lot of other people at UNC will as well. It seems unfair that he had to leave so soon, but he did a lot of good while he was here. Hope you can find peace soon and move ahead. Love, Klaus
