Mrs. Myrtle W. White, age 93 of South Hill died Thursday, Feb 4, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Martha W. Sweitzer (Jimmie) of Victoria; two grandchildren, J. P. Sweitzer and Bridgette Alexander and four great-grandchildren, Kelly, Megan, Kaden and Kamdin. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her brothers Clyde H. Walker and Fred Walker and a sister, Annie Vaughan.

Mrs. White was retired from Burlington Industries and Narricot. She was also a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2pm Monday, Feb 8 at Crestview Memorial Park in LaCrosse, VA. The family requests memorial considerations be directed to Lake Country SPCA, P O Box 14, Clarksville, VA 23927 or R T Arnold Public Library, 110 E Danville St., South Hill, VA 23970.
