Obituary

William Howard Moss III Passed away on Friday June 26, 2020 with his family by his side. He was 78 years old. He is survived by his loving wife Zettie Warbritton Moss; Two sons Shep Moss and his wife Terry and their children Evan and Patrick; Matt Moss and his wife Nora and their daughter Lilly; Stepdaughter Marty Vogel and her husband Alex and their two children Hailee Werkmeister and Madolyn Vogel; Two sisters Barbara Bracey and Faye Kallam and her husband Jimmy.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Pat Matthews Moss; Parents William and Eunice Moss II and a sister Becky Wells.

Howard was a local Jeweler for over 40 years in Lawrenceville and South Hill. He was a Master Gardner , Avid Lake lover and loved his beach music and shagging .He was Loved by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday June 29, 2020 at Crestview Cemetery in LaCrosse. Flowers are welcome and donations may be made to the South Hill Youth Baseball Shep Moss Academic Scholarship Fund P.O. Box 28 South Hill, Va.23970

Farrar Funeral Home is serving the Moss family.

Paul and I are so saddened to learn of Howard's death. We have many fond and funny memories that go way back in our past. Some of them go back to time that Paul and Howard served with the Virginia National Guard. Our prayers to the family that your memories will heal the pain that you feel at this time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Shep and all of Mr. Moss' family during this sad time. Although gone from this world, I am sure that Mr. Moss will live on for many, many years to come through the memories his family and friends share of him.
